Hello World!

Hi, and welcome to my new site! Prior to the facelift you now see, my website merely served as a portfolio to all of the various games I made in my spare time. Games are a lot of fun to make, but the Flash games market dried up, it became hyper-competitive to get eyeballs on your games on Steam, and dating back to 2016, I welcomed two, new, beautiful daughters to the world. I haven’t quit making games, however, my current project these days is moving at a snail’s pace.

Mrs. Doubtfire Hello

About this Blog

Back in early 2018 I switched jobs to a new company, Marstone, because I wanted to learn Python. The decision has been one of the best of my career! I might not be making games right now, but I still have the itch to create new things. My Python skills are still quite a work in progress, and I believe there is no better way to learn than by teaching. Thus, I intend to post fun (to me, at least) Python exercises, about once a month. This is the first and only post I will make that will be lacking a tutorial, or thorough discussion of some sort. Consider this an informal introduction to this blog and its new format.

Lastly, if you’re curious, my site is now using Jekyll, and the theme you see is a variation on the popular Pixyll theme. I host my site on NearlyFreeSpeech.NET.
