What I'm Working On

Dynasty Bowl - A Tecmo Super Bowl-inspired 2D arcade football game. A long work in progress. 🏈

Mario Golf: Super Rush - Fun game to play with my kids. ⛳
Pokemon LeafGreen - I introduced Pokemon to my kids with this game, and selfishly got to replay it. 🍃
The Incident at Galley House - I'm a fan of what this team makes. This one has good Agatha Christie vibes too. 🔍
Hoop Land - Fun indie sports game. Pretty close to the kind of game I'm into making right now too. 🏀

Mouthwashing - Short, disturbing, and brilliant. I loved the non-linear storytelling. 🚀
The Drifter - This might be my favorite adventure game ever. The voice acting was awesome. 🔪
Gnomes - I can't explain it but I love this game's art style. 🍄
The Roottrees Are Dead - This game's entire vibe really resonated with me. 🌳
Type Help - This blog post sums up what I love about this game. ⌨️
Ooo - Cute little puzzle game, very satisfying. 💣

On Writing - One of my favorites. It's about writing, but a lot of it applies to making games or pretty much anything creative. 📝
Four Thousand Weeks - A friend recommended this one to me. Productivity is a trap? ⏳
The Courage to Be Disliked - I feel like I need to reread this one eventually. Everyone is a comrade, every moment is a dot, lots to think about here. 📖
The Art of Spending Money - Morgan Housel follow-up. He writes so well, I'll probably re-read his two books over the years. 💰
Think Like a Game Designer - Covers the game design fundamentals, even if it's more geared towards tabletop games. 🎮
How to Live - Short, strange, and gave me a lot to think about. 🧠
I Know What You Did Last Summer - A nostalgic mystery read. 🔍
Broken Hearts - Yea I went into the R.L. Stine archives for this one. 💀
The Wrong Number - Last Stine novel, I swear. ☎️
The Emperor's Soul - Brandon Sanderson novella. I like his writing but haven't dedicated myself to one of his longer novels just yet. ✍️
